It is estimated that for every five-hospital discharge patient, one patient needs some form of extended treatment for the next 15-30 days. However, more often than not, patients do not avail the required treatment outside the hospital.
One major reason for this is that hospitals don’t find financial merit in services beyond episodic care.
Secondly, patients are not aware enough or motivated enough to realize the need for preventive healthcare or existing avenues to avail that care. Existing technology and advancements in AI can help bridge this crucial gap in our system breaking the cyclic brick-mortar model.

The role of AI, to deliver challenges around Access, Cost and Quality is way above the vanity quotient of AI. Needless to emphasize, AI as an exponential lever, it is a game changer and a game maker, provided we think of AI for today’s play. Giving patient’s access to care is like training Bruce Wayne and, making physicians more effective and accurate is giving Bruce Wayne the Batman suit.
