Abstract

Since the introduction of AI in Radiology workflows we have seen a large number of solutions focussed on clinical decision support in the acute setting, allowing for real-time reprioritization of worklists to expedite the reporting of urgent findings. Whilst there is some value in these solutions, the ROI for procurement remains unclear. As the demand for imaging continues to grow, and radiology operating at the center of multiple care pathways, there is an opportunity to screen for high prevalence, chronic conditions which have clear downstream cost benefits, as well as significant improvement in patient outcomes.

Join Dr Orit Wimpfheimer, Chief Medical Officer of Zebra Medical Vision, and Dr Shah Islam, Neuroradiologist and Senior AI Consultant at Hardian Health, for an expert led discussion on the impact of AI enabled opportunistic screening in medical imaging and how this can positively impact on population health at scale.
