Dr Michelle Ananda-Rajah FRACP PhD is a MRFF TRIP fellow and consultant physician in general medicine and
infectious diseases at Alfred Health, Melbourne with research interests in infections in immunocompromised patients. She has led a project in collaboration with Monash University, to develop applied AI (www.fungalAi.com) for detection and diagnosis of fungal diseases in patients with blood cancers that is undergoing real world validation in an international clinical trial. Her research interests in general medicine relate to the impact of occupational violence and aggression in hospitals and the effects of hypothermia on the elderly which attracted national media attention.
