Anas Shikha, MD

Dr Anas Shikha is a paediatric surgeon and a training supervisor in RIPAS Hospital, Brunei Darussalam.

Dr Anas completed his basic medical degree at Damascus University and embarked on paediatric surgical training at the University of Malaya after a short training in general surgery followed by European Fellowship in pediatric surgery. Computer sciences were part of his career throughout his journey of basic and advanced training.

Dr Anas was the director of medical computer sciences at Damascus Academic Center and has programmed the virtual practical labs for the undergraduate medical students in Damascus University.

Dr Anas is currently utilizing machine learning in data analysis to improve decision making, reduce time to diagnosis, and eliminate excess investigations to achieve better healthcare for children with surgical conditions.
