Dr. Ajay Choudhri is Chairman of Radiology and Director of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Capital Health. He is a founding member of the private radiology group, Capital Health Advanced Imaging, PC and has been instrumental in its growth since its inception in 2003. Dr. Choudhri maintains board certifications in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Endovascular medicine. He is fellowship trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His clinical expertise is in neuroimaging and treatment of vascular disease. Dr. Choudhri completed his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School. He completed his radiology residency at Montefiore Hospital-Albert Einstein New York and finished his VIR fellowship at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute. He maintains active interest in health care policy, economics, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship. He currently serves as a member of the Capital Health Board of Directors, as well as various committees at Capital Health, including Medical Executive Committee, Neuroscience Steering Committee, Heart and Vascular Steering Committee and currently chairs the Heart and Vascular Case Conference. He is a mentor at digital-health start-up incubator, Tigerlabs in Princeton, NJ. He is a member of the American College of Radiology(ACR), Radiology Society of North America(RSNA), Society of Interventional Radiology(SIR) and Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine(SIIM).
