Ammar Ghaibeh studied Electronic engineering at Damascus university, then moved to Japan, where he earned a master’s degree in information systems from Nagoya University in 2001, and a Ph.D, in computer engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology in 2004, working on building artificial neural networks for large classification problems. He worked on drug design and environment modeling in industry, before joining Tokushima university as an assistant professor in medical informatics working on clinical data mining. In 2014 he obtained a Ph.D, in medical informatics from Tokushima University. Currently, Ammar is a senior assistant professor at University Technology Brunei School of information system, data analytics program.
