Brian Jackson, MD

Dr. Jackson is associate professor of pathology, and adjunct associate professor of biomedical informatics, at the University of Utah. He is also medical director for IT, support services and business development at ARUP Laboratories, a nonprofit entity of the University of Utah. Dr. Jackson received his BA (mathematics), MS (medical informatics) and MD degrees at the University of Utah, and completed residency in clinical pathology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He worked in hospital IT as well as for a Belgium-based software startup prior to joining ARUP Laboratories in 2003. His current research interests center on the application of medical ethics to healthcare corporations.
