Donna Lee Armaignac, Ph.D., MSN, R.N.-CNS, CCNS, CCRN Donna earned a Doctorate of Philosophy from Barry University; her research concentration involves the evolving discipline of Data Science. She earned a Post-Masters Graduate Certificate in Adult/Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, a Medical Education Research Certificate from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, a Master of Science in Nursing, Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Donna currently serves as the Director of Best Practices for the Telehealth Center of Excellence at Baptist Health South Florida. Her work of technologically leveraging big heath care data for analytics has enabled several high-value epidemiologic, observational and comparative studies resulting in the generation of new knowledge about critical care populations, the effectiveness of treatments, and sophisticated prediction modeling of outcomes. Donna was recently elected as Chairperson for the Clinical Research & Epidemiology committee of the Research Section for Society of Critical Care Medicine working towards the advancement of the data science domain.
