Dr. Somesh Gupta is a full time Professor of Dermatology & Venereology at All India Institute of medical sciences, New Delhi, India. He is past secretary, and president of Association of Cutaneous Surgeons (I) (ACSI) and Past Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery. Currently, he is holding the position of Chairman, ACSI academy.
He has edited an international reference text on “Surgical Management of Vitiligo” and has over 150 publications in his name. He has invented many procedures which improved the outcome of transplantation surgeries in vitiligo. He has organized (as organizing Chairman) the meeting of International Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) in the year 2012 at new Delhi.
His areas of interests are vitiligo surgery, scar revision surgeries, electrosurgery and cryosurgery.
