Matt Dewey joined Wake Radiology in September of 2015 and as Chief Information Officer (CIO) he is responsible for leading the company’s technical strategy and managing overall IT operations and customer service for 14 locations.
His initiatives include improving service delivery through embracing effective and efficient use of technology, such as AI; leading strategic initiatives to upgrade current PACS and RIS systems and adapting/upgrading current systems to be flexible and responsive to customer and company needs.
Prior to joining Wake Radiology, Matt held lead positions in the industry as Director of IT Applications at CDI and CIO for a multi-site imaging company in New York. Additionally, Matt’s experience is enhanced by prior employment with both PACS and RIS development companies and an early career in academics.
