As a cardiologist and data scientist, Dr. Ouyang is interested in breakthroughs at the intersection of computer science, health information technology, informatics, and cardiovascular imaging. Dr. Ouyang works on applications of machine learning and imaging-based precision phenotyping to address unmet needs in cardiovascular disease and health. Dr. Ouyang received his MD from UCSF in 2014, residency, cardiology fellowship, and postdoctoral fellowship in computer science from Stanford University in 2020. Dr. Ouyang joined Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2020 and his research is supported by NIH NHLBI, ACC/Merck, Stanford Cardiovascular Institute, and industry partners.
